The Congo or "Zaire" river has over 4,000 islands and at least 50 of them are over 10 miles long. It is also one of the purest, cleanest rivers in the world due to the ancient environmental practices of the people who share it. The second longest river in Africa and one of the primary resources for the Kongo Kingdom
